Our Story:
Mercy Hill Church began in a Midtown Memphis living room in September 2011. In a community known for eclectic diversity, our desire was to begin a church that felt like family for Memphians to connect in deep relationships around Jesus. From the trendy to the tossed-aside, we offer Memphians a place to belong. Our growth has only furthered our dream of saturating Memphis with the good news of Jesus through multiplying families of churches in Midtown and beyond.
Over the years, we’ve met in a variety of venues including a coffee shop, a theatre, a wedding chapel and finally in the historic church building at 447 N Evergreen Street that we now call home. We continue to gather in homes throughout the week in smaller groups called Missional Communities. Our heart is to make disciples who follow Jesus in everyday life.
A lot has changed in Memphis over the years, but our vision remains the same. We’re committed to be a family devoted to Jesus, living according to His word and making disciples.
