About Us
The only thing special about Mercy Hill Church is Jesus, because He is Good News for Memphis.

OUR STORY
A Humble Beginning
Mercy Hill Church began in a Memphis Midtown living room in September 2011. In a community known for eclectic diversity, our desire was to begin a church that felt like family for midtowners to connect in deep relationships around Jesus. From the trendy to the tossed-aside, we offer midtowners a place to discover the life, love, family and friendship found in Jesus. Our growth has only furthered our dream of saturating Memphis with the good news of Jesus through multiplying families of churches in midtown and beyond.
LEADING THE MERCY HILL FAMILY
Our Elders
The elders of Mercy Hill Memphis seek to humbly submit to Jesus and lead by sacrificing and serving.

We began Mercy Hill Church in Midtown Memphis in August 2011. My wife Katie & I have four boys: Riley, Cole, Yohannes, and Mack. We love being family for those who have none. You can find me leading, planning, studying or counseling in one of the local Midtown coffee shops. I also run V&E Greenline. I lead our paid staff, Sunday Gatherings, serve on the teaching team and lead a Missional Community.
Religion Degree (1999) Samford University
Masters in Biblical Studies (2002) MABTS

Mercy Hill became our beloved family shortly after our arrival to Midtown Memphis in 2013. My wife, Jamie, and our four kids—Britain, Jed, Carter, and LJ—enjoy learning to follow Jesus with the diverse group of friends and neighbors in our Missional Community in Cooper Young. I flip houses by day while shepherding and coaching Mercy Hill leaders when I’m away from work. I also serve on the teaching team, lead a Missional Community and give direction for our coffee groups.

A Memphis native, I’m married to Kaitlyn and have four kids, India, Grayson, Grant, and Ava. We love the mission of Mercy Hill to be the family of Jesus for the good of Midtown Memphis. I work at the Tag Truck Center, serve on the teaching team, and give direction to our Sunday teams.
Communications Degree (2007) University of Memphis
